"Then Pharaoh said to Joseph, 'Since God has made all this known to you, there is no one so discerning and wise as you. You shall be in charge of my palace, and all my people are to submit to your orders. Only with respect to the throne will I be greater than you.'"

Genesis 41:39-40

The accomplishments of Joseph were astounding. As a youngster he was brash, confident, hardworking, successful, and even at times arrogant. Much of this was the result of Joseph being the favorite of Jacobs' twelve sons. As a youth, he was given many visions from God, which over time, he grew confident God would fulfill them. At a young age his brothers sold him to a passing caravan of Ishmaelites, who in turn sold him to one of Pharaoh's officials, Potipharinto, who would make him a slave in Egypt.

Using his skills, he was able to win the hearts of everyone he would come into contact with, this helped him become the governor of Egypt, second only to Pharaoh himself. From this position he would one day meet up with his brothers again whom he forgave.

His remarkable story reveals numerous trials and tribulations but through it all he maintained his trust in God who always fulfilled His promises to Joseph. His walk with God never allowed the trying circumstances of his life to prevent him from always responding positively.
